Travis Scott: brand, brand, brand!

Travis Scott, born in 1992, is an American rapper and record producer. She married Kylie Jenner, an American celebrity and businesswoman, with whom she had her first child, Stormi, on 1st February, 2018.

Travis besides being an artist in the music field is a multifaceted figure and a real professional branding. His works expand beyond the musical world to the fields of fashion, gaming and entertainment. In fact the artist to not miss anything on March 15 launches CACTI his first alcoholic drink. The drink was officially presented to the public at Grammy Awards last March 2021 

Cacti is sold in cans in packs of 9 in different flavors Lime, Pineapple and Strawberry. The Lime and Pineapple flavors can also be purchased individually. The alcoholic drink is currently only available in the United States, on the app Drizly, an app selling alcoholic products in the US, and on the online store of CACTI where you can also buy merchandising.

Last 2020 there were rumors about the launch of the Brand CACTI for which it was rumoured that it would be a new clothing brand, for some celebrity photos that portrayed him with the logo of the brand and with the appearance of billboards around the States with the same brand. Since then it has been known that the trademark would be registered under the category “alcoholic beverages”. As we have seen also from the CACTI website there is the Merch session, this does not alter the fact that the brand can subsequently evolve into a real clothing brand.

In 2017 Travis launches CACTUS JACK RECORDS his record label with which he begins to sign several collaborations, the most important and well-known are those with NIKE.

From then on, he didn’t stop until today. If 2020 for many was a year of pandemic for those like Travis it was an opportunity and a river full of creativity. In 2020 he debuted his collaboration with Fortnite, the famous videogames that held company last year to many kids. The April 2020 event on the well-known videogames was followed by as many as 12 million people around the world, a live concert created specifically in the style of the game. Playstation had already anticipated a collaboration with the artist (Cactus Jack) and Nike, launching a dedicated clothing collection, even before the launch of the spot in late October, The release of the new PS5 that saw as the protagonist of the ad just Travis.

Also in September 2020 comes out the collaboration with Mcdonald. The spot for a special menu dedicated to rapper, since the collaboration and the menu would be available only in the States, not to displease his fans from around the world launches a capsule with the brand signed Cactus Jack. Finally, in December 2020 the collaboration with Byredo, a well-known Swedish fragrance brand, with which he signs a limited edition perfume and candle, named Space Rage.

 

 

2020 was a particular year for many from all points of life, the artist certainly was not less in distinguishing himself through different marketing initiatives. Who knows what else Travis will have in store for this 2021.
